The Studio.

Such a welcoming studio that listens to you, is super supportive of all humans, and carries excellent products that you can refill from their gallon bottles, so less plastic gets thrown away. Super pleased with my results, and had a lovely experience.

Badlands is an inclusive hair studio dedicated to craft hairdressing, non-toxic products, & conscious salon practices.

You can find us tucked away in the Brookswood Plaza in Southwest Bend, Oregon.

Craft.

You know those stylists/salons who do a little bit of everything? Yeah…that ain’t us. Instead of trying to do it all, we pride ourselves as being coloring & haircutting specialists.

At Badlands, we’re not your average salon. We’re a collective of talented hairdressers who love what we do… and doing it WELL.

We’re also a host salon + advanced education hub for fellow licensed stylists in Central Oregon and afar.

Clean.

Wish you could have a salon experience free from synthetic fragrances and toxic hair services? We do too, which is why at Badlands we stick to using clean hair care products and ammonia free color whenever possible.

Conscious.

As a certified Green Circle Salon, we make it a priority to recycle and repurpose up to 98% of our salon related waste including hair clippings, color tubes, used foils, and more. Learn more about where our beauty waste goes and how it gets repurposed here.

We also offer a DIY Refill Station of all the Innersense shampoos and conditioners we carry at the studio. Refills available for 10oz and 32oz containers and priced per ounce.

Inclusive.

Our goal is for every client to walk through our door and feel welcomed, celebrated, & taken care of. We strive to create a more inclusive salon space through:

  • Gender-free hair services

  • Hourly pricing

  • Continuously advancing our technical skills to work with ALL hair textures (#Curly&CoilyHairLove)

  • Being an active member of The Dresscode Project; an alliance of salons committed to providing positive, gender-affirming services for LGBTQ+ clients
